What I really recall is the frustration of not having adequate instruction and-more importantly-information and/or stats for the attacking units. Because the attacking units come strong, fast, and seemingly without end. If you don't have things under control already before they start pouring through, you might as well hit the restart button (if you can find one) and see if you can guess better the second time. Maybe, as the marketing insult on this page implies, I'm just stupid.
But I've played nearly every TD game in existence and nothing has given me the trouble this game did. Go ahead and try it; you may find it easier going than I did, plus there's obviously a decent game hiding in there somewhere. Just don't be surprised when an endless train of units of unknown power comes snaking (not sneaking) through your defenses like they're not even there, because I warned you lol! The click and hold to drag the screen around is upside down. When you click and drag the mouse up, you would expect the point clicked on to stay under the mouse and the screen would pan down. Instead, it drags up. Made the first few levels difficult to enjoy because I kept going in the wrong direction.2. The pace of the game is very slow, even with the double speed on.3. There are no options to speak of, except music and sound effects on/off, and these are only accessible during the game.
